On my most recent visit, the waiter said that they organize trips to local wineries to learn about different wines (and tasted them of course). Then they combine them with local specialties to create unique pairings. I can't think of another restaurant that puts as much thought into promoting local wines and serving local specialties as they do. The first time I ordered the Hank's steak, so I went with the steak again this time - the filet mignon...perfect. I will be back this summer and will be making reservations again.
